RECOGNITION OF EDUCATION DOCUMENTS CERTIFYING QUALIFICATION ISSUED BY FOREIGN INSTITUTION

The recognition of documents certifying a qualification issued by a foreign institution is based on Law No. 422/2015 Coll. on recognition of education documents and on recognition of professional  qualification and on changes and amendments to certain acts (hereinafter „law“), as well as on Directive No. 2/2020 of J. Selye University.  

I.
Complete secondary qualification

Recognition of the equivalents of documents certifying complete secondary education issued by foreign institution for the purpose of continuing studies in the Slovak Republic is based on § 39 of the law.
The application has to be submitted to the competent regional office:

The form required for the submission of the application for the recognition of documents certifying  complete secondary education based on international agreements.

II.
Higher qualification

Recognition of the equivalents of certificates of higher education issued by foreign institution in the given field of study for the purpose of continuing studies at J. Selye University is based on § 33 of the law.
The application has to be submitted on the following address:
