DORMITORIES
General informations
In the 2nd wing, the dormitory provides accommodation for university students in rooms with 2 or 3 beds. Two rooms share a renovated bathroom. Each floor has a study room and a kitchen for students, equipped with a refrigerator, electric stove, oven, microwave oven and sink.
Broadband Internet access (both LAN network and Wi-Fi) is provided free of charge in the dormitory. On the ground floor, there is a high-performance multifunction printer connected to the university network that can also be used by students, as well as a communal room and dining room. There is a laundry and room for ironing on the ground floor. Students can use the gym and play table tennis as well.
A beautiful landscaped area is waiting for the visitor in front of the dormitory. The multifunctional track located next to the dormitory provides an excellent opportunity to play sports and enjoy your free time.
The cost of dormitory room is 70 € /person for a month.
Dormitory application and admission are governed by the Dormitory Rules and Admission Regulations of J. Selye University. The document includes the rights and duties of the Accommodated Person and the Accommodation Provider as well. Settlement of disciplinary cases is also included.
By enrolling in the dormitory and signing the Contract for Accommodation, each student declares that he/she has taken note of and abides by the above regulations. The regulations can be found in the menu of Documents.
Students admitted to the dormitory are obliged to pay the accommodation fee by bank transfer, in addition to paying a deposit, monthly or in one amount per semester in advance. The conditions and details of this are specified in the Contract for Accommodation, which can also be found on the website.
Students are provided information about the exact room allocation via AIR (Academic Information System). The coupon confirming the payment of the dormitory and deposit fee must be presented when enrolling in the dormitory. In case of the absence of these supporting documents, the student cannot enroll in the dormitory.

The planned date of assessment of applications is second half of July 2023. You will obtain information about residence allocation via AIR and by e-mail.

Change of accommodation:
All students eligible for accommodation have to move into the accommodation facility indicated in AIR. A room exchange can be requested after moving in, after prior agreement with the exchange partner, in the second half of September. You can only move to the new location after the application has been approved and the necessary administration has been completed!

The date of dormitory enrollment: first half of September. Detailed information about the date of enrollment will be sent by e-mail.
If the dormitory room cannot occupied by the student until the specified date, the student is obliged to indicate this by e-mail and request a new date by August 31, 2023 on e-mail address: . Otherwise, the admission of the student will be considered invalid, and the room will be allocated to a next eligible applicant on a waiting list.

More informations
a) in case of monthly payment (€70/month), the payment has to be realized until the last day of the month before the relevant month (two monthly fees (deposit) until August 31 and 1 month fee for September), the accommodation fee for the months of May and June will be reimbursed from the deposit
b) in the case of 6 months (half year) payment, the student is obliged to pay the amount of two month fees (deposit) and the amount of five month fees for the period from September 2023 to January 2024 (inclusive), and to pay the three month fees for the period from February to June 2024 (inclusive) by January 31, until the signing of this contract. The last 2 months are reimbursed from the deposit,

The slip confirming the payment of the dormitory fee must be presented when enrolling in the dormitory. In case the student cannot confirm the payment, he/she cannot enroll in the dormitory.
